About this reading
The Bahá'í (Badí') calendar names every day, month and year after one of nineteen attributes of God — Splendour, Mercy, Knowledge, Beauty and so on. This app takes the day, month, weekday and year you were born and looks up their names, meanings, and a couple of short passages from the Bahá'í writings that touch on that theme.
This isn't a Bahá'í teaching or practice — the Faith explicitly does not endorse astrology of any kind. Think of it as a structured, reflective way to sit with a beautiful naming system, not a prediction about your character or future.
Calendar dates are calculated using the traditional fixed correspondence (Naw-Rúz on March 21st) rather than the astronomical equinox observed since 2015, and sunset times are approximate. For births within a day or two of Naw-Rúz, or right at sunset, the exact year or day could occasionally shift by one.
